NEXCO SA was founded in 1990 by Javier Nascel and his father Manuel
After more than a year of exhaustive study and analysis in Argentina and Europe, and always with the firm conviction of investing nationally, the family decided to dedicate themselves to the marketing of Argentine honey in the international market.
The beginning of it all, from 1990
The company was initially established in the family home and also rented a warehouse located in the city of Lobos, Buenos Aires Province, as its base of operations.
In 1993, that warehouse became the property of the company and the basis of the current NEXCO SA model plant. In 1994, Gerardo Zwitkowits, Javier's university classmate and brother-in-law, joined the company and assumed management responsibilities, contributing to the project's development.
When the market started demanding quality, we were already prepared.
In addition to its focus on quality, NEXCO SA has positioned itself as the leading exporter of Argentine honey. Over time, the company has established business relationships with beekeeping families spanning several generations, which is one of the cornerstones of our growth.
